from the University of Washington in women's primary care. Before becoming
a nurse practitioner I worked as a registered nurse in high risk perinatal
(labor and delivery) at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. I have also worked
in gynecological surgery, post-partum care, and spent two years right out
of nursing school in orthopaedics.
I take
almost all insurance including DSHS, Molina, Medicaid, and Medicare. For
women who do not have health insurance I charge a reasonable fee for each
visit.

am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with
children, adolescents, and young adults.
I work
with individuals who have learning challenges, social/emotional difficulties,
anxiety, depression, AD/HD, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental
disabilities.
A large
part of my practice involves neuropsychological/ psychoeducational assessment,
and I have particular interest and expertise in dyslexia and written language
disorders.
I often
consult with parents, physicians, and school personnel in designing individualized
education plans, and I am available to provide testing for high school
students trying to obtain SAT and ACT test accommodations.

addition to assessment, I offer psychotherapy services and I am available
to coach individuals with AD/HD. My background in school psychology and
occupational therapy is very helpful in understanding the medical, emotional,
and educational needs of my clients. I love working with children and teens,

In
the warmth of Healing Waters pool I guide clients through a series of flowing
dance-like movements. I combine the modalities of Watsu and
Aquatic Integration with my skills as a massage therapist to offer gentle
supportive sessions that allow the body to relax, unwind and move towards
deep healing.
I also
offer Ai Chi (Tai Chi adapted to water) classes in the pool.
Ai Chi combines gentle movement, breath work and warm water, thus providing
exercise that is both relaxing and centering.
